Mom, Thank You For Teaching Me What True Love Is
I watch you carefully and I cannot measure my admiration. The love I feel when I see you smile overflows me. Just as my heart explodes between thunderous beats every time you look at me with those sweet sky-colored eyes. Mom, thank you for teaching me what true love is.
Actually, there is so much I owe you, that I will always be grateful. I feel lucky and blessed. My mother, you are my example, my model and my pillar. My support and my driving force. Thank you for teaching me everything that really matters in this life.
Mommy dear, thank you for teaching me that love is not only received, but also given. And for making me understand that not only our happiness is worth, but also that of the people we adore. This is what I learned when I saw you dedicating your life to the beings that you say are essential in your day to day life.
Thank you for teaching me what love is
With your love so pure, felt, sincere and true I understood many things. First of all, there are no limits or conditions. Well, no matter what you do, there will always be patience and tolerance to solve problems. And that affection that characterizes you so much and will be eternal in my soul will remain unchanged.
With you I understood that the happiness of one perhaps resides simply in the happiness or well-being of another person. It is what I feel every time you take pride and joy in each of my achievements and triumphs. The same thing I feel when I fall, I drag you with me to hit rock bottom, and I feel so sorry for it.
Definitely when I look at you I understand that love makes us generous and supportive. Always leave the best for that special being. It does not matter to eat less or cold, or to leave the tastiest slice for a third party. That is genuine, it comes from your heart and it is the natural reflection of your noble soul that clouds me so much.
Dedication and sacrifice are the words that paint you from head to toe. See the other laugh, make life easier. Lightening burdens and dissipating pain is your natural talent. All these gestures that I notice every day tell me about the true meaning of love, life and motherhood.
In good times, in bad times and in worst cases, you were always by my side. Regardless of the circumstances, the dream, the hunger, the sadness, the anger. From now on, ensuring that we move forward, never giving up. Taking something good out of each misstep: materializing the error in an unforgettable and indelible teaching.
At home, at work or with your studies. It didn’t matter, there was always time for us at home. And it never mattered how tired all your chores generated you. The truth is that by dint of kisses, laughter, hugs, caresses and a thousand “I love you” we fill the most tender anecdote, etched in my heart.
Mommy, thank you for teaching me so much
Without being a goddess of Olympus, you gave me life, just as you gave me the best education possible. I give you my blind trust and I offer myself to give you all my secrets and dreams. I thank you and I am proud to have you as that faithful friend impossible to lose.
Thank you for teaching me that true love listens more and speaks less, but with a force that arises from the depths of your being. My restraint when the world is upon me. The person who only blindly trusts me, who believes in my potential and knows how to exploit it to the fullest.
You also instilled in me endless values, with your single action. While you thought I wasn’t watching you, I learned so much Mommy, without the need for lectures or challenges. Just seeing how you handled yourself, empathetic, understanding, supportive, generous and nice for life. Pure charisma and simplicity.
You showed me that also love does not bind, but lets you fly as high as you can. You became my guide, but without forcing my way. You let me explore new routes every day and choose my course. Thank you, my infinite heaven, for showing me that true love is also freedom.
