1. Creative T-shirts
A good activity to work on creativity with children is to make creative t-shirts. How can it be done? Very easy! You just have to make the following materials available to the little ones:
- Plain white t-shirts.
- Special paints for fabric.
- Brushes.
- Purpurin.
- Colored felt or any other material that can be used to decorate clothes.
Then, you just have to give them time so that they can express all their creativity on the shirts.
It is important that, before getting down to work, they think carefully about how they want to do the design. Thus, when creating the shirts, they will be more determined and will be able to check if the final result is similar to the one initially proposed.
2. Create a superhero
Another creative dynamic for children is allowing them to create their own superheroes. To do this, it is necessary to ask them the following question: “If you were a superhero, what would you be like and what superpowers would you have?” .
Starting from this question, the little ones should reflect and write down on a piece of paper all the ideas that come to mind about their ideal superhero, in order to let their imagination run free.
Once they have finished, they must take a pencil and a paper and begin to draw the superhero devised in detail. This can also be done with plasticine or other molding materials.
3. Drawings on the back
A dynamic that stimulates group creativity is to draw pictures on the back. For this game the children have to get in pairs. Thus, while one of them draws, slowly and with his finger, something on his partner’s back, he has to guess what it is and try to capture the same drawing on paper that they have made on his back.
The same process should then be carried out in reverse and repeated as many times as desired. The little ones will have a lot of fun checking out the amazing results of the activity!
